Little Princess Pia

My boss is one of the kindest men alive.......and because of that, I have decided to surprise him with a painting of his beautiful daughter Pia. I attended a gala event at his home not too long ago and little Pia , the little fashionista was making her way through all the adults and melting hearts as she went.

Here is the start of my painting. I always do a line drawing with Transparent Red Oxide which blends beautifully into the skin tones when I start with the color.

 I am using a nice linen Raymar panel...makes a wonderful difference.

So now that I have that completed, now I add color and make sure I maintain the correct values.

Stay tuned! It should be completed this weekend! Next step define the features more and get those eyes in!
